What Is Apparel Quality Assurance?
Apparel quality assurance is a systematic process that ensures garments meet predefined standards for fabric quality, construction, sizing, durability, labeling and packaging before shipment.
At Champolian, quality assurance begins during product development and continues through every stage of apparel production to ensure that every garment meets our clients' expectations for quality, durability, fit, and performance.
At our company, quality control is embedded throughout the entire production process, from yarn to the finished product, from stitch spacing to packaging cartons.
We are dedicated to controlling production details, striving for stable and high-quality standards. High-quality raw materials are applied, including American-imported cotton yarn and eco-friendly dyes.
For fabrics, production can be customized according to your brand quality requirements. Before leaving the fabric mill, each batch must pass a 4-point inspection system. Once the fabric arrives at our garment factory, we conduct random inspections of the bulk fabric and perform another 4-point inspection. We also arrange third-party tests for shrinkage, color fastness, and physical tests such as tear strength, density, and weight etc.

Regarding garment production, we adhere to the AQL2.5/4.0 standard. Our full-time quality inspectors monitor the entire process, conducting both in-line inspections and final reports in every aspects including:

QA is the strategy to prevent defects. QC is the action of finding them.
Quality Assurance (QA): The proactive plan. It's the systems and standards we establish before production to build quality in.
Quality Control (QC): The hands-on inspection. It's the process of finding and correcting defects during and after production.
A brand needs both to succeed. A plan without inspection is a guess, and inspection without a plan is just expensive damage control.
AQL is a statistical method that gives a clear "Pass" or "Fail" on your production run.
It replaces guesswork with data. We inspect a specific sample size based on global standards. If the number of defects is below the pre-agreed limit (the "Acceptable Quality Limit"), the entire batch ships. It's your objective insurance policy against receiving a bad shipment.
It protects your brand's reputation by ensuring your colors don't bleed, fade, or rub off.
These lab tests simulate washing, sunlight, and friction to verify that your product's color remains stable. It's a non-negotiable step to prevent customer complaints, costly returns, and the negative reviews that can permanently damage a brand.
